ROCK CLIMBING MEETUP

Need to warm up those dance moves on the wall before you show your moves on the dance floor at Pride festival? 

Eastern Sierra Pride will be hosting a climber’s meetup at Warming Wall in Mammoth Lakes (near Canyon Lodge) on Saturday June 6th at 10am.

Meet at the start of the Canyon parking area at the start of the trail that is next to Austria Hof. 

Bring your own personal climbing gear (shoes, harness, belay device, and helmet) and any other gear you are able to share (rope and quickdraws). Oh and don’t forget those rainbow tights and face glitter!

Meetups are not guided or instructional in nature. They are opportunities for queer climbers and allies to meet each other, find new friends to climb with, and celebrate pride in the outdoors. Meetup leaders will be familiar with local climbing. We encourage all participants and meetup leaders to make informed risk decisions and have conversations about risk and experience with all new climbing partners. Remember, climbing is inherently dangerous and you are responsible for your own safety.
