Our rapidly growing non-profit group, Eastern Sierra Pride, is spearheading its first Pride Festival. The Eastern Sierra Pride Festival will mainly be held at the Tri-County Fairgrounds in Bishop, CA on June 4th and 5th, with other local venues and offerings to be determined. The event will also double as the launching point for our non-profit.

Join us for our inaugural Pride kickoff party (18 and over) with drinks, dancing and Drag! Legendary drag star, Heklina will be hosting a show with queens and kings from as far away as Palm Springs and Santa Cruz, and as close as our big back yard. Doors open at 7:00pm, show at 8:30pm, followed by a night of dancing under the stars!

2022 is the first year Eastern Sierra Pride is organizing and celebrating PRIDE month, but local youth have been celebrating through grassroots events for years. Last year, local youth organized a Pride march, starting at City Hall. The parade drew dozens of supporters and was a glimpse into the vibrant life our local LGBTQIA2SP+ community has in Bishop and the greater Eastern Sierra. Eastern Sierra Pride would like to acknowledge these folx for paving the way!
