Los Angeles based artist & songwriter, Mariah Counts, uses her authenticity to connect with and evoke raw emotions from her listeners. Inspired by the likes of Avril Lavigne, Justin Bieber, and Kehlani, Mariah brings a beautiful combination of catchy melodies and real-life experiences for listeners to relate to. She also knows how to sprinkle in just enough sexy pop to keep listeners on their toes.

Mariah is a former Division 1 collegiate champion, and she brings that work ethic and passion to her music career. This is how she claimed her 2023 debut headliner spot at one of the largest pride festivals in the US, Stonewall Columbus Pride. She also shared a lineup at the famous Dinah Shore Weekend with Princess Nokia, Doechii, and G Flip. As a prominent up-and-coming figure in the 2SLGBTQIAP+ community, Mariah prioritizes creating an incredibly inclusive and memorable show for people of all walks of life. In 2022, she toured the US with her debut album Lost in the Sauce, performing 63 shows, and connecting with humans across the entire country.

Leading up to her upcoming album, Parting Gifts, Mariah has been slowly releasing singles every 6-8 weeks. The concept project is a collection of letters in song form that she wants to leave behind when she’s gone, serving as a legacy and final words to give the world. The sound is inspired by Mariah’s youngest inspiration, Avril Lavigne, and is an evolved pop-rock addition to her catalog. The album is set to release this summer as she hits festival stages to share her new music with the world.
